Boys Frosh/Soph Results from Thursday, Dec. 1st

Effingham and Mattoon split Thursday in boys frosh/soph basketball action.

Effingham won the freshman game 36-33. 

For Effingham: Thompson 12, Waldhoff 8, Niebrugge 7, Cramsey 5, Jones 2, Ritz 2.

Shick led the Mattoon freshmen with 11 points.

Mattoon won the sophomore game 54-43.

Teutopolis and St. Anthony tangled in frosh/soph action Thursday night, with Teutopolis coming out on top in both contests.

Teutopolis won the sophomore game 40-37.
