Effingham St. Anthony High School edged out to a 14-10 opening quarter lead and led 29-18 at halftime against Sullivan at the Enlow Center Tuesday evening in boys basketball.
The Bulldogs then had a 29-10 second half run for the 58-28 win.
St. Anthony was led by Drew Gibson with 16 points and Adam Levitt with 14.
The Bulldogs also claimed the junior varsity game, 27-28.

At St. Elmo
St. Elmo/Brownstown played host to South Central in National Trail Conference contest Tuesday and captured a 66-48 win.
SEB stepped out to a 35-19 opening half and had a 17-9 third quarter.
The winners had four players hit double digits. Landon Feezel led the way with 19 points while Lewis Brown tallied 14, Isaac Maxey 14 and Klayton Kroll 11. Feezel pulled down 18 rebounds. Dylan Brooks had five assists and two steals.
South Central was led by Trent Geiler with 17, Logan Lotz with 13 and Trevor Markley with 10. Geiler also led in rebounds with eight while Ryan McCown had seven.

Neoga handed Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City a 58-49 National Trail Conference loss Tuesday evening.
CHBC held a 13-10 opening quarter lead and led 30-19 at halftime. Neoga rallied with a 20-11 third quarter and had a 19-8 final period for the victory.
Caleb Hill tallied 25 points for the Indians. Jackson Clark added 11.
CHBC was led by Konner Blackerby with 20 points and Cody Grove with 11.
CHBC won the junior varsity game 54-46.
