T-town Downs Dieterich in F/S Boys Action

Teutopolis traveled to Dieterich and claimed a pair of wins in freshman/sophomore boys basketball action Monday evening.
In the freshman contest, Teutopolis used a strong third quarter and outscored Dieterich 16-8 to lead 41-22 and cruise to a 53-33 victory. The Shoes were led by Mitch Hemmen with 21 points. Other double digit scorers were Luke Ungrund and Mitch Hardiek with 12 each. Dieterich was led in scoring by Ansh Dogra and Tyler Elmore with six each
In the sophomore game, he Wooden Shoes only led by four after the first quarter. They stretched the lead to 10 at half and then use a strong third quarter to push the lead to 21, before posting the final victory, 56-30.
Teutopolis placed everyone in the scorebook with Andrew Simmons leading all scorers with 13. Dieterich's Randy Brummer and Travis Will both finished with 10 each.
Teutopolis returns to action on Thursday traveling to St. Anthony.
