"If you take away the first quarter, we played a good game," said South Central Coach Gary Kapper. "The girls didn't give up, even after being down in the first half. We are still learning to play together as a team with some new varsity players. We have fundamental things to work on to get better, but they gave a tremendous effort. If we give that kind of effort every night, win or lose, that is all you can ask for."
