Teutopolis Picks up Two Victories

TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis Junior High School picked up two girls basketball victories over Robinson Thursday evening.

T-town won the seventh-grade contest 35-7. Marianna Hemmen tallied 14 to lead the winners while Macy Michels added seven. T-town improves to 2-2 in the South Central Conference, 10-4 overall.

In eighth-grade action, T-town was a 31-8 winner. Jamie Sandschafer led the way with 10 points while Shelby Thompson added eight. T-town is undefeated with a 4-0 conference mark and a 14-0 overall tally.

Jasper County picked up a seventh-grade girls basketball win over Flora, 36-24 Thursday.

Abby Frohning tallied 15 points for the winners as they held a 16-9 halftimme lead.
