Junior High Boys Basketball -- Nov. 11

Effingham Junior High School pulled out a 34-32 victory over Teutopolis in eighth-grade boys basketball action Friday.

T-town held a 6-4 opening quarter lead and pushed that to 19-9 at halftime. Effingham came back with a third period run. The Mustangs then put on a final quarter surge and Wolfe connected with Duncan who scored the winning layup with :02 on the clock.

Duncan finished with 14 points for the Mustangs while N. Thompson had nine and Wolfe eight. Effingham is now 2-1.

T-town was led by M. Deters and Addis with 12 points each.
