SIGEL -- Teutopolis Junior High School and Sigel St. Michael split girls basketball wins Thursday evening.
T-town claimed the seventh-grade game 30-12. The Wooden Shoes stepped out to a 14-0 first inning lead and never looked back. Macy Probst tallied 12 for the winners. St. Michael was led by Schumacher with seven. T-town improved to 16-3.
In the eighth-grade contest, the Sharpshooters took a 40-13 victory. St. Michael led 24-7 at halftime.
The Sharpshooters were led by Hope Bueker with 21. Carly Michels tallied seven for T-town. The Shoes dropped to 11-8.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City picked up the eighth-grade victory while Brownstown/St. Elmo nabbed the seventh-grade game.
BSE won the seventh-grade game 40-30. CHBC dropped to 9-10. BSE was led by Wilhour with 19. CHBC was led by Lani Morrison with 10.
In the eighth-grade game, CHBC was a 31-24 winner to improve to 12-7. Kaylynn Moeller led the way with 15 points. Campbell led BSE with 10.

Jasper County fell to Altamont in both games Thursday.
Altamont edged Jasper County 33-32 in the seventh-grade game. Altamont held an 18-12 halftime lead and led 24-19 going into the final quarter.
McManaway tallied 21 for the winners. Amber Russell led Jasper County with 10.
In the eighth-grade contest, Altamont won 43-14. Runge scored 29 for the winners. Whitney Zumbahlen led Jasper County with seven.
