Effingham split victories with Altamont in junior high girls basketball action Monday evening.
The Mustangs won the seventh-grade game 33-8 taking a 25-2 first half lead and never looking back. Schaeffer tallied nine and Sowell eight for the winners who improve to 9-5. McManaway scored four for Altamont.
In eighth-grade play, Altamont was a 49-35 winner. Altamont held a one point lead at half then had a 28-15 second half run. Runge scored a whopping 31 points for the winners. Diveley tallied 25 for Effingham who fell to 7-7.

At Robinson
Effingham St. Anthony picked up two victories over Robinson Nuttall Monday evening.
The Bullpups won the seventh-grade game 45-7, holding Robinson Nuttall scoreless in the first half while taking a 23-0 lead. Isabelle Hakman tallied 15 and Elle Wegman 10 for the winners.
In eighth-grade action, St. Anthony picked up a 31-14 victory. Jacy Boatman scored 17 points for the Bullpups. St. Anthony held a 13-5 halftime lead and then had an 11-2 final quarter surge.

At Beecher City
Teutopolis picked up two victories over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Monday.
The Wooden Shoes claimed the seventh-grade contest 38-18. Izzy Hardiek and Macy Probst provided the one-two scoring punch for the Shoes with 12 each. CHBC was led by Mady Wojcik with 10.
T-town is now 14-3 on the season while CHBC fell to 8-9.
In eighth-grade play, T-town won 33-20 and stands at 11-6. Carly Michels scored 12. CHBC was led by Madison Cherry with 10 as the squad dropped to 10-7.

At Casey
Jasper County tallied two victories over Casey-Westfield Monday.
Jasper County edged the homestanders 27-25 in seventh-grade action. Sydney Dobbins scored 14 for the winners.
In the eighth-grade contest, Jasper County was a 32-18 winner with a 20-12 first half lead. Whitney Zumbahlen and Graci Michl scored eight each for the winners.
