FLORA -- Effingham St. Anthony and Flora split girls junior high basketball victories Tuesday evening.
The Bullpups lost the seventh-grade contest 25-17. Mary Ann Saba and Keri McGuire tallied five points each.
In eighth-grade play, St. Anthony was the winner 28-23. Jenna Woltman led the Bullpups with 11 points.

At Sacred Heart
Effingham Sacred Heart and Dieterich split wins Tuesday. In seventh-grade action, the Shamrocks won 18-13. Carie led the winners with six points. Shadle and Deain had six each for Dieterich.
In eighth-grade play, Dieterich was a 24-16 winner. Bannick tallied 10 for Dieterich. S. Webster scored eight for Sacred Heart.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis and Mount Olive picked up a victory each in action Tuesday evening.
Mount Olive was a winner in the seventh-grade contest 35-12. T-town drops to 9-4 on the season. The Wooden Booties were led by Macy Michels with six points.
In the eighth-grade game, T-town picked up a 40-37 victory to remain unbeaten at 13-0. Shelby Thompson scored 16 points and Raegen Drees 12 for the Booties.
T-town will be back in action with two games Thursday taking on Sigel St. Michael at 4 p.m. in seventh and eighth-grade B games and Robinson at 6:45 p.m. for regularly scheduled seventh and eighth-grade action.

At Beecher City
Jasper County came calling and claimed two wins over Beecher City-Cowden-Herrick Tuesday.
Jasper County was a 33-12 winner in seventh-grade action. Abby Frohning led the winners with 13 points. BCCH drops to 2-10.
In eighth-grade play, Jasper County won 49-14. Ariel Richards scored 19 and Grace Hartrich 13 in the win. BCCH drops to 5-5.
