WINDSOR -- Effingham Sacred Heart and Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor split victories in junior high girls basketball competition Tuesday evening.
The Shamrocks captured the seventh-grade game 19-7. Karolewicz tallied 10 for the winners who improved to 1-14. Stew-Stras/Windsor was led by Hayes with seven points.
In eighth-grade competition, Stew-Stras/Windsor won 30-18. Mikala Nichols tallied 10 while Hayes and Megan Nichols scored eight each.
The Shamrocks were led by Karolewicz with eight points. SSW drops to 11-4.

At Teutopolis
Paris Mayo came calling Tuesday evening and picked up two victories over Teutopolis.
Paris Mayo downed the Wooden Shoes 28-24 in the seventh-grade contest. T-town dropped to 11-3 on the season. Grace Hoene and Macy Probst had eight points each for the Shoes.
In eighth-grade action, Paris Mayo edged the Shoes 32-31. Paris Mayo held an 18-14 halftime lead. T-town came back with a 10-5 third period run to move ahead 24-23 but Paris Mayo outscored the Shoes 9-7 to pull out the win.
T-town was led by Carly Michels with 15 points and Kylie Hoelscher with eight. T-town drops to 8-6.

At Pana
Pana Sacred Heart beat Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City twice Tuesday.
Pana Sacred Heart won the seventh-grade game 42-28. CHBC was led by Gracie Heckert with 13 points.
In eighth-grade action, Pana Sacred Heart won 26-24. CHBC dropped to 10-5 with the loss. Madison Cherry had eight for CHBC.

Japer County and Lawrenceville Parkview split victories Tuesday.
Jasper County won the seventh-grade game 17-16. The score was tied at 4-4 at halftime and Parkview took a 13-8 third quarter lead. Jasper County came back with a 9-3 final period to pull out the win.
Sydney Dobbins tallied seven and Ava Kessler six for the winners.
In the eighth-grade contest, Lawrenceville Parkview was a 27-18 winner. Jasper County was led by Allison Einhorn with eight.
