Effingham Junior High School split victories with Olney Monday evening in girls basketball action.
Olney won the seventh-grade contest 38-20. The visitors led 24-14 at halftime. Bushur led the Mustangs with eight points. Effingham dropped to 7-3.
In eighth-grade play, Effingham was a 26-23 winner to improve to 4-6. Arend tallied eight and Diveley seven for the winners.

At Dieterich
Dieterich played host to Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and claimed both victories Monday evening.
Dieterich won the seventh-grade game 28-20. Boerngen tallied 12 for the winners. Gracie Heckert led CHBC with 14.
In eighth-grade action, Dieterich won 33-21. Bloemer scored nine and Locey eight for the winners. Carsen Burks tallied six for CHBC.
