Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Junior High School claimed two wins over Effingham Sacred Heart in girls basketball action.
CHBC won the seventh-grade game 38-15. CHBC had a 22-5 first half lead. Gracie Heckert scored 15 for the winners. Karolewicz led the Shamrocks with seven. The winners improve to 3-2.
In eighth-grade play, CHBC won 44-20. Madison Cherry tallied a whopping 25 points for the winners who improve to 4-1. The Shamrocks were led by Carie with eight.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis and Charleston were both winners. T-town took the seventh-grade contest 41-8.
Isabella Hardiek tallied 11 while Macy Probst had 10 for the Shoes. T-town is now 4-0.
In eighth-grade action, Charleston was a 57-11 winner. T-town's Jessica Runde scored four. The Shoes drop to 1-3.

At Neoga
Neoga and Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor took a victory each Tuesday.
Neoga won the seventh-grade game 31-12 and was led by two players in double figures. Dunn had 15 and Moore 11. SSW was led by Hayes with six. WSS drops to 0-6 overall and 0-5 in the National Trail Conference.
In the eighth-grade contest, Stew-Stras/Windsor won 37-11. Megan Nichols tallied 11 for the winners who improve to 3-2 in the conference, 4-2 overall. Neoga was led by Phillips with five.

Dieterich traveled to Martinsville and won the seventh-grade game 36-25.
Boerngen led the winners with 12 points, six coming in the second quarter. Pruemer and Kinnison tallied eight each.
Martinsville captured the eighth-grade contest, 42-31. Dieterich held a 15-13 first half lead but Martinsville came back to hold Dieterich scoreless in the third quarter while pushing ahead 34-15. Dieterich was led by Ella Probst with 11 points.
