T-town Wins Three Times In Shootout

TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis Junior High School hosted a girls basketball shootout Saturday.

The Wooden Booties seventh-grade squad fell to Mattoon 25-10 but the eighth-grade team won 36-28.

Mattoon then defeated East St. Louis Lincoln 37-7 in seventh-grade play and 47-14 in eighth-grade action.

T-town then downed East St. Louis Lincoln 30-22 in seventh-grade play and 36-16 in the eighth-grade contest.

T-town's eighth-grade squad improves to 11-0 on the season.
