Junior High Girls Basketball Result -- Sept. 23

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Junior High School split girls basketball victories Friday evening with Neoga.

Neoga won the seventh-grade contest, 19-18. Moore tallied 10 for the winners. CHBC was led by Lani Morrison with seven.

In eighth-grade action, CHBC totaled a 35-12 win. Kaylynn Moeller scored 10 for the winners who had a 25-7 second half surge.

Neoga was led by Phillips and Moore with four points each.
