DIETERICH -- Dieterich Junior High School nabbed two victories over Effingham Sacred Heart in girls basketball action Thursday.
Dieterich won the seventh-grade game 34-10. Dieterich was led by Boerngen with 11 points. Sacred Heart was led by Hackman with five.
In the eighth-grade contest, Dieterich won 31-16. Locey tallied 10 points for the winners. The Shamrocks were led by Rozene and Carie with five each.

At Louisville
North Clay (Louisville) and Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor split girls victories Thursday.
North Clay nabbed the seventh-grade win 23-15. Allen led the winners with 11 points. Richards led SSW with six.
In eighth-grade action, Stew-Stras/Windsor claimed a 37-18 victory. Mikala Nichols and Megan Nichols had 12 points each for the Stars. Lovett led North Clay with 10.
