Lake Land Board Names Colvin New Head Men's Basketball Coach

At its regular meeting on Monday, June 13, the Lake Land College Board of Trustees appointed Brandon Colvin as the new head coach for the men’s basketball team. He will also serve as the intervention and compliance coordinator for the college.
 
Colvin has served as the head basketball coach and athletic director at Dakota College of Bottineau, N.D., since 2014. Prior to Dakota College, he served as head basketball coach at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Fergus Falls, Minn. He previously served as assistant coach at North Dakota State College of Science, Western Texas State College and Southwestern Community College, Iowa. While coaching, Colvin has been a sports information director and instructor.
 
Originally from the Springfield, Ill. area, Brandon has a bachelor’s degree in business computer systems from Bradley University and a master’s degree in sports management from Virginia Commonwealth University.
 
Brandon will join Lake Land College in his new role on July 1.
