Effingham and Neoga split in basketball action Friday night.
Effingham won the 7th grade game 40-13. Ramos led Effingham with 15 points, Myers 10, Armstrong eight, Barr four, Haythorne two, and Flowers one. Atwell scored all 13 points for Neoga.
Effingham's 7th graders are now 3-1.
Neoga won the 8th grade game 44-9. Roy and Potter each scored 15 points to lead Neoga, Ewing scored eight, Padgett four and Dryden two. Conkling led Effingham with five points and Damron and Shah each scored two points.
Effingham's 8th graders are now 1-3.
