Big Ten Tournament Pairings Announced

The Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament will open play Wednesday with the first game on the agenda No. 12 Illinois facing No. 13 Minnesota at 3:30 p.m. Play will be held at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The second game that day will have No. 14 Rutgers meeting No. 11 Nebraska at 6 p.m.

The tournament continues Thursday with No. 9 Northwestern against No. 8 Michigan at 11 a.m. followed by No. 5 Iowa meeting the winner of game one at around 12:30 p.m., No. 10 Penn State goes against No. 7 Ohio State at 5:30 p.m. and No. 6 Wisconsin meeting the winner of game two at around 7 p.m.

No. 1 Indiana will play Friday against the winner of game three while No. 4 Purdue meets the winner of game four, No. 2 Michigan State goes against the winner of game five and No. 3 Maryland takes on the winner of game 6.

The tournament championship is scheduled for Sunday, March 13 at 2 p.m.
