The Dieterich Movin Maroons got a steal and a layup with less than six seconds left in regulation to win their second straight National Trail Conference Boys Basketball Tournament 47-45 over the Altamont Indians. Video of the entire game is available below. We've also re-cut the game in full HD, located here.

With the game tied 45-45, Ryan Radloff stole a downcourt pass for Dieterich and fed Nick Feldhake who raced to the basket and laid the ball in with 0.4 seconds remaining. Feldhake was fouled, but missed the foul shot, Altamont's Evan Cornett grabbed the rebound and heaved the ball down the floor but the shot came up well short and the Movin Maroons had the championship.

Altamont led 12-9 after one quarter and 22-18 at halftime before Dieterich posted a 19-8 edge in the third quarter to move ahead 37-30. Altamont came storming and took a lead, but Dieterich tied it and went ahead on a two-pointer before Mitchell Stevenson hit a three to put Altamont back in front. Feldhake hit a three to tie the game. Then came the downcourt pass intercepted by Radloff and Feldhake's game-winner.

Dieterich improved to 17-6 with the win while Altamont fell to 18-4.

Lance Niemerg led Dieterich with 11 points, while Travis Niemerg added 9, Feldhake and Noah Heuerman 8 each, Radloff 7, and Callaway Campton 4.

Altamont's Ryan Armstrong led all scorers with 17 points, Cornett scored 10 points in the first half, Sam Childerson 6, Adam Mayhaus 5, Stevenson 3, and Branden Hosick 2.

It's the third tournament championship in four seasons for Dieterich; Altamont won the tournament two seasons ago.

Also Saturday, St. Anthony defeated South Central 60-43 for third place, complete video of the game is below.

Earlier in the day, St. Elmo/Brownstown came from behind to defeat Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick 74-65 for the consolation championship. Video of that game is below.
