T-town Girls Remain Fourth in Polls, Boys Drop To Ninth

The Teutopolis High School girls basketball team remained fourth in the latest Associated Press Class 2A State Poll.
The Shoes are 19-6 and have 91 points. Breese Central, receiving 14 first-place votes, stands at the top spot while Piasa Southwestern is second and Knoxville is third.
In the boys rankings, T-town dropped into a tie for ninth place from eighth place last week. The Shoes, tied with Sterling Newman, are 16-5 and have 19 points. Winnebago drew eight votes and is ranked No. 1 in Class 2A.
Altamont is still in the others eceiving votes category in Class 1A.
