BROWNSTOWN -- Brownstown/St. Elmo handed North Clay (Louisville) a 65-54 girls non-conference basketball defeat Tuesday evening.
BSE took a two-point lead after the end of the opening quarter 15-13. BSE held that two-point lead at halftime 25-23.
The Bombers then came back with a 40-31 second half run.
BSE was led by Brown with 30 points and Baron with 11.
Four players hit double figures for North Clay with Alyssa Groves and Audrey Fleener with 11 each and Mikayla Stanfield and Darcy Fender with 10 each.

At Sandoval
Sandoval edged Dieterich 48-44 in a non-conference contest Tuesday evening.
The Movin' Maroons took a 14-13 opening quarter lead but Sandoval came back with an 11-9 second period run to lead 24-23 at halftime.
The Blackhawks then had a 24-21 second half. Christonia Saddler led the way with 25 points while Halei Orrell tallied 10.
Dieterich was led by Kelsey Webb with 14, Madison Bannick with 12 and Kallee Heuerman 11. Heuerman pulled down 15 rebounds. Bannick led with three assists. Webb and Heuerman had three steals each.
Dieterich drops to 7-18.
