Hoops for a Cure at Teutopolis Tonight

TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis High School will have a Hoops for a Cure tonight at the girls basketball game.

The second annual event will honor Craig Lindvahl, a long-time teacher in the Teutopolis school district, who has Stage IV pancreatic cancer. At Craig's request, proceeds from tonight's event will benefit the Scott Repking family.

It will also herald Senior Night for the Teutopolis girls basketball team as it plays host to Mattoon. The junior varsity game begins at 6 p.m. The Purple Out raffle drawing and Senior Night festivities will be held during halftime. The varsity game will begin around 7:15 p.m.
