Windsor/Stew-Stras Fourth at Tri-County Boys Tourney

KANSAS -- Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg High School finished fourth in the Tri-County Holiday Boys Basketball Tournament Wednesday.
Paris edged WSS 49-46 to take third place in the meet. Windsor/Stew-Stras edged out to a 14-13 opening quarter lead but Paris had a 10-4 second period run to lead 23-18 at halftime.
The Hatchets came back with a 19-13 third period to lead 37-36 going into the final period. But the Tigers rallied for a 13-9 final period to pull out the victory.
Warner led the Hatchets with 26 points while Overbeck chipped in with 13. Windsor/Stew-Stras is now 5-6 on the season.
In the championship game, Chicago Christ the King beat Westville 49-42. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond downed Tri-County 46-42 for fifth place. The seventh place game went to Hutsonville/Palestine over Martinsville 71-45.
