Dieterich Holiday Tournaments Set For Three Days

The Dieterich boys and girls holiday tournament pairings have been finalized. The tourneys will begin Saturday, December 26 and run Monday, December 28 and finish out Tuesday, December 29.

In the girls meet (view schedule), Pool A teams include top-seeded Brownstown/St. Elmo, fourth-seeded South Central, fifth-seeded North Clay (Louisville) and eighth-seeded Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City.

The Pool B teams include No. 2 seed Newton, third-seeded Casey-Westfield, sixth-seeded Dieterich and seventh-seeded Arcola.

Six games are on tap December 26 and 28. The championship game is scheduled for aprpoximately 6 p.m. December 29.

In the boys tournament (view schedule), Arcola drew the No. 1 seed and is in Pool A with fourth-seeded Oblong, fifth-seeded Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran and eighth-seeded North Clay (Louisville). Pool B has No. 2 Dieterich, No. 3 Newton, No. 6 Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick and No. 7 Okaw Valley.

Six games are scheduled December 26 and 28 with the finals December 29. The championship begins at 8 p.m.
