Effingham-Teutopolis Christmas Classic Pairings Released

Pairings for the Effingham-Teutopolis Christmas Classic boys basketball tournament have been released.

The tournament will run two days, Monday, December 28 and Tuesday, December 29. In Pool A are Teutopolis, Mattoon and Chicago Oak Lawn. In Pool B are Effingham, Chicago Brooks and Jerseyville. In Pool C are Charleston, Marshall and Lincoln-Way West.

Five games will be contested at Effingham High School December 28 while four games will be held at Teutopolis.

The tournament ends December 29.

Game 1 -- Mattoon vs. Teutopolis, 9 a.m.

Game 2 -- Effingham vs. Jerseyvile, 10:30 a.m.

Game 3 -- Charleston vs. Marshall, noon

Game 4 -- Chicago Oak Lawn vs. Mattoon, 1:30 p.m.

Game 5 -- Jerseyville vs. Chicago Brooks, 3 p.m.

At Teutopolis High School

Game 6 -- Lincoln-Way West vs. Charleston, 3:30 p.m.

Game 7 -- Tetuopolis vs. Chicago Oak Lawn, 5 p.m.

Game 8 -- Chicago Brooks vs. Effingham, 6:30 p.m.

Game 9 -- Marshall vs. Lincoln-Way West, 8 p.m.
