Effingham St. Anthony played host to Sullivan and claimed a 55-13 victory in the freshman boys basketball contest Thursday evening.
The Bulldogs leaped out to a 33-7 halftime lead and didn't look back. Bryson Wall led the Bulldogs with 12 points. Luke Ludwig and Quinton Milleville had nine points each.
In the sophomore game, St. Anthony was a 45-33 winner. Alex Deters scored 15 and Alex Beesley 10 for the Bulldogs,. St. Anthony held a 23-16 halftime lead and outscored Sullivan 14-9 in the third quarter.

At Shelbyville
Effingham traveled to Shelbyville and handed the Rams two losses in freshman/sophomore play.
The Hearts won the freshman game 50-21 with a 29-9 first half lead. Zack Lee had 11 points and Lucas Hagler 10 for the winners.
In the sophomore game, EHS edged out to a 6-2 opening quarter lead and led 18-7 at halftime. The Hearts went on for a 38-22 win.
Ryan Sandifer scored 19 for the lone player in the game in double figures.
