Bulldogs Claim Boys F/Sh Wins Over Hearts, EHS Girls Drop Loss

Effingham St. Anthony nabbed two victories over Effingham in freshman/sophomore boys basketball competition Monday.
The Bulldogs won the freshman game 40-28. Bryson Wall tallied 10 for the winners. Lucas Hagler led EHS with 12.
In the sophomore contest, the Bulldogs picked up a 58-45 win. Alex Deters led the way with 22 points while Alex Beesley scored 13 and Adam Levitt 11 for the winners. Ryan Sandifer led EHS with 21.

Effingham played a freshman/sophomore contest against host Charleston and fell to the Trojans 46-30.
Charleston stepped out to a 27-13 first half lead. Effingham was led by Carie and Kuhlman with nine points each.
