North Clay Falls At Kaskaskian Classic

CARLYLE -- North Clay (Louisville) High School fell to Flora in action at the 17th Annual Kaskaskian Boys Basketball Classic at Carlyle High School Wednesday evening.

Flora had nine players score in the opening quarter for an 18-9 lead. The Wolves pushed that to 36-14 at halftime. Gocey tallied 14 and Smith 10 for the winners.

North Clay was led by Repking with 11 points.

In the second contest, Pinckneyville defeated Hillsboro 46-32. Tonight's games feature Flora against Okawville followed by Woodlawn taking on Pinckneyville. North Clay plays again Friday against Carlyle in the round robin tourney.
