Freshman/Sophomore Girls Basketball -- Dec. 2

Effingham picked up a freshman girls basketball victory over Effingham St. Anthony Wednesday evening, 26-16.

The Hearts edged out to a 7-6 opening quarter lead and then took off with a 9-2 second quarter run.

Buscher tallied nine points while Kuhlman added six for the winners.  St. Anthony was led by Richards with six and Weis with five.
