Hillsboro 38, St. Anthony 22 (the game was tied 4-4 after one quarter, but the Hilltoppers led 18-8 at halftime and 32-10 after three quarters before St. Anthony made it closer with a 12-6 fourth quarter run; Emma Richards led St. Anthony with 10 points, eight in the fourth quarter; also for St. Anthony--McDevitt 4, Weis 2, Brown 2, Clausius 2, Niebrugge 2); St. Anthony plays twice in the tournament today, taking on Taylorville at 12:45pm and playing Jacksonville at 5pm; the tournament will wrap up next Friday and Saturday)

Teutopolis 52, Centralia 23 (the Lady Shoes were only ahead 18-12 at halftime, but outscored the Lady Orphans 34-11 after intermission including 15-1 in the fourth quarter to salt the game away; Anna Hartke scored 14 points to lead Teutopolis; also for the Lady Shoes: Sandschafer nine, Thompson eight, Smith and Repking seven each, Drees four, Bueker 2, and Michels 1; Teutopolis twice today in the tournament, against Carlyle at 9am and against Bethalto Civic Memorial at 5:30pm; the tournament will wrap up next Saturday)
