Effingham picked up two wins over Effingham Sacred Heart in girls junior high basketball action Friday.
Effingham was a 36-17 winner in the seventh-grade contest. Rueter led the way with 18 points for the Mustangs. Karolewicz led the Shamrocks with nine.
In eighth-grade action, Effingham claimed a 19-14 win. Niebrugge scored six and Krouse five for the winners. Feldhake led the Shamrocks with seven.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis swept Casey-Westfield in both seventh and eighth grade action Friday.
T-town won the seventh-grade contest easily, taking a 37-4 win. The Shoes held a 14-2 first half lead and had a 16-0 third quarter run. Carly Michels scored 18 for the winners who improve to 10-4.
In the eighth-grade contest, T-town picked up a 10-18 win, holding Casey-Westfield to only a point in the first half for a 30-1 lead. Claire Bushur and Alli Brumleve scored 10 points each for the winners as the Shoes improve to 14-0.
