Sigel St. Michael captured the championship of the National Trail Conference Seventh-Grade Girls Basketball Tournament Saturday.

St. Michael claimed a victory over Altamont. No score was listed.

The third place contest went to Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick over Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, 31-20.

BCCH led WSS 14-13 at halftime then had an 8-2 third quarter run. Sydney Lorton led the winners with 10 points. WSS was led by Hannah Hayes with eight points.

Brownstown/St.. Elmo defeated Effingham Sacred Heart for the consolation championship. No score was reported.

At Teutopolis

Teutopolis captured two wins over visiting Decatur Robertson in Saturday competition.

T-town won the seventh-grade game 40-20 with a 21-10 first half run. Carly Michels scored 17 and Kylie Hoelscher 10 for the winners who improve to 8-3.

In eighth-grade play, T-town was as 39-14 winner. Olivia Niemerg scored eight and Claire Bushur seven for the Shoes who are unbeaten at 11-0.

At Bridgeport

Jasper County picked up two victories in the Conference Tournament Saturday.

Jasper County won the seventh-grade game over Palestine/Hutsonville 18-8. Madison Blake scored six to lead the way.

In the eighth-grade contest, Jasper County was a 43-16 winner over Oblong with a 14-3 opening quarter run. Josie Grunloh led the way with 12 points.
