Effingham Sacred Heart and Olney St. Joseph split girls junior high school basketball victories Monday evening.
The Shamrocks picked up the seventh-grade win, 21-12 to even its record at 4-4. Katie Carie tallied eight points while Grace Karolewicz scored seven.
In eighth-grade play, St. Joseph was a 29-20 winner. Sacred Heart drops to 0-8. Callie Feldhake scored 10 for the Shamrocks.

At Beecher City
Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick defeated Mulberry Grove twice Monday evening.
BCCH won the seventh-grade contest 36-10 with an 18-6 first half lead and a 12-2 third period surge. Madison Cherry finished in double figures with 10 points as BCCH improved to 7-1.
In eighth-grade play, BCCH was a 41-14 winner and is 5-3 on the season. Jaelyn Robertson scored 20 points and Lauren Wojcik 13.

At Sullivan
The majic number for Teutopolis was in the 20s Monday evening as the Shoes defeated Sullivan in both games.
T-town claimed the seventh-grade encounter 26-4 for a 6-3 record. Carly Michels scored 12 for the Shoes.
In eighth-grade action, T-town tallied a 27-6 win with a 15-0 first half lead. Claire Bushur had 14 for the Shoes who are now 9-0 on the season.

Effingham St. Anthony came calling and handed host Dieterich two losses Monday evening.
The Bullpups won the seventh-grade game 29-24. The score was tied at 6-6 after the first inning before St. Anthony moved ahead 14-7 at halftime and led 20-12 going into the final quarter.
Rogers tallied 11 for the winners while Beesley added 10. Dieterich was led by Bierman with 16.
In the eighth-grade contest, St. Anthony was a 25-13 winner, taking a 15-5 first half lead. Ritz tallied nine for the winners. Dieterich was led by Bloemer with nine.

Jasper County took a 19-12 first half lead on North Clay (Louisville) in the seventh-grade contest and claimed the victory 33-24 Monday.
Allison Einhorn scored 11 points for the winners.
In the eighth-grade game, Jasper County was a 39-22 winner with a 20-9 first half lead and an 8-3 final quarter run. Josie Grunloh scored 12 and Eliza Bierman 10 for the winners.
