Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor and Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond split junior high girls basketball victories Monday evening.

SSW won the seventh-grade contest 26-20 with a 10-4 final quarter run. The score was tied at 16-16 going into the final period.

Nichols tallied eight for the winners who improve to 5-4 on the season.

In eighth-grade action, ALAH was a 29-21 winner with a 10-4 opening quarter run. Leading SSW was Schlechte with five points as the eighth-grade squad drops to 0-8.
