Effingham Junior High School played host to Okaw Valley and picked up two victories in girls basketball competition Saturday.
The Mustangs won the seventh-grade game 30-9. Divley tallied 14 for the winners who improve to 4-2.
In eighth-grade action, EJHS took a 29-15 win. Krouse scored 10 and the Mustangs are now 2-4 on the season.

At Windsor
Sigel St. Michael went three overtimes to edge Effingham St. Anthony 29-27 to win the Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor Seventh-Grade Tournament Saturday.
The two teams played to a 21-21 tie after regulation then were tied at 23-23, 25-25 before St. Michael got the final two points in the third overtime period.
Niebrugge led the Sharpshooters with 11 points while Bueker added 10. St. Anthony was led by McDevitt with 10 and Guy with nine.
The third place game went to Stew-Stras/Windsor over Cumberland 32-2. SSW had a 16-2 opening half lead. Nichols tallied 12 and Hayes 10 for the winners. Mitchell had the lone two points for Cumberland.
In the first game of the day, St. Michael defeated Stew-Stras/Windsor 31-10 with Bueker tallying 13 points. In the second game, St. Anthony won over Cumberland 21-0.

At Teutopolis
In the Teutopolis Shootout Saturday, the Wooden Shoes seventh-grade contest was claimed by the homestanders 24-8 over Central A&M.
Carly Michels scored 17 points for the Shoes.
In the eighth-grade contest, Teutopolis defeated Central A&M 51-29 with a 32-10 first half run. Olivia Niemerg scored 16 for the winners while Karsyn Mette tallied 12.
In the third and fourth games, Marshalll downed Central A&M 30-9 in seventh-grade and 39-22 in eighth-grade play.
Teutoplis then beat Marshall 27-17 with an 11-0 second quarter run. Michels tallied 16 as the seventh-grade improved to 3-3.
In the eighth-grade contest, T-town was a 29-13 winner and is 6-0 on the season. Erica Michels led the Shoes with six points.
