Altamont Wins Opener In Vandalia Tourney

Altamont Junior High School opened the girls basketball season with a 26-16 win over Greenville in the Vandalia Eighth-Grade Tournament Tuesday.

Altamont took a 4-0 first quarter lead and outscored Greenville 11-3 to lead 15-3 at halftime. Keidron Duckwitz led the winners with 11 points.
