The Atlanta Hawks are hoping to accomplish something special when the playoffs start later this month. So it's not too big a deal to 12th-year guard Kyle Korver that they've won more regular-season games than any Hawks team.

The Hawks set a single-season franchise high Tuesday night with their 58th victory, getting 16 points each from DeMarre Carroll and Jeff Teague in a 96-69 win over the Phoenix Suns.

Heat 105, Hornets 100

Goran Dragic said he thought Tuesday carried Game 7 importance to the Miami Heat. His play backed up his words. Dragic scored 11 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter, Luol Deng added 21 and the Heat helped their playoff chances with a 105-100 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night.

Pelicans 103, Warriors 100

Anthony Davis doesn't want to carry the Pelicans into the playoffs just so they can get unceremoniously bounced in the first round by NBA-leading Golden State. Now Davis has some proof to back him up when he claims that young, unpredictable New Orleans could pose a threat to the No. 1 seed. Davis scored 23 of his 29 points in the second half, including two free throws with 9 seconds left, and the Pelicans moved into eighth place in the Western Conference with a 103-100 victory over the Warriors on Tuesday night.

Spurs 113, Thunder 88

Kawhi Leonard is seizing more responsibility from San Antonio's veteran core, and the Spurs are taking off. The 23-year-old forward matched a career high with 26 points for the second straight game, and the Spurs rolled past the Oklahoma City Thunder 113-88 on Tuesday night for their eighth straight victory. Leonard is averaging 19.4 points per game and shooting 59 percent from the field during the win streak.

Kings 116, Timberwolves 111

Omri Casspi's playing time has increased since George Karl took over as Sacramento's coach during the All-Star break. Casspi's production is picking up, too. Casspi scored 16 of his career-high 31 points in the third quarter and the Kings overcame a sluggish start to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-111 on Tuesday night.

Clippers 105, Lakers 100

The Clippers have three games left until the playoffs begin. They can't get there soon enough. Blake Griffin and J.J. Redick scored 27 points apiece and the Clippers beat the Lakers 105-100 Tuesday night, completing a 4-0 season sweep of their downtrodden Staples Center co-tenant.
