Jones, Warner To Compete In Three-Point Shootout

Stewardson-Strasburg's Mark Jones and Windsor's Tristan Warner are the area boys shooting in the Country Financial Three-Point Showdown Thursday at the Class 1A State Tournament.

The pair will head to the Peoria Civic Center and take part in Group 2 of the four groups. The pair will be shooting back-to-back. Jones is a senior and Warner a junior. Next season Stew-Stras and Windsor will co-op in boys basketball.

Also from around the area is Dawson Maus of Oblong.

In Class 2A, Logan Smith, a senior from Flora, will be competing in Group 4.
