Bulls Bounce Cavaliers, NBA All-Star Game Sunday

(Chicago, IL) -- The NBA is now officially at the All-Star break as the Bulls beat the Cavaliers, 113-98, behind 30 points and seven assists from Derrick Rose at the United Center. Tony Snell continued his strong play knocking down 9-of-11 shots for 22 points, while Pau Gasol added 18 points, 10 rebounds and six helpers. The Bulls enter the break with a 34-and-20 record. LeBron James posted 31 points, but also turned the ball over eight times. Kyrie chipped in 17 on 18 shots. The Cavs are 33-22. Kevin Love sat out for Cleveland and Jimmy Butler missed the game for the Bulls.

Nikola Mirotic will represent the Bulls in tonight's Rising Stars Challenge at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Saturday, Elena Delle Donne of the Sky and former Bull Scottie Pippen will play in the Shooting Stars Challenge. Jimmy Butler has dropped out of the Skills Challenge after aggravating his strained right shoulder on Tuesday. He still plans to play limited minutes in Sunday's All-Star Game, with teammate Pau Gasol starting for the Eastern Conference.
