St. Anthony stepped out to an early lead and claimed a 63-41 National Trail Conference boys basketball win over South Central Tuesday evening at the Enlow Center.
The Bulldogs led 26-11 at halftime. Andrew Gardewine tallied 20 points for the Bulldogs while Nick Grunloh chipped in with 16 points.
South Central was led by Harmerier with 15 and Hill with 10. The Cougars drop to 3-5 in the NTC, 10-14 overall.

Dieterich continued its unbeaten string by bouncing Windsor 82-25 in National Trail Conference action Tuesday evening.
The Movin' Maroons pushed into a 25-4 opening quarter lead and opened that up to 52-8 at halftime. Three players scored in double figures, Gephart with 15, Bohnhoff with 14 and Niemerg with 10.
Dieterich had 10 three-pointers in the contest led by Gephart with five. The Maroons are now a perfect 26-0 on the season.

Devin Smith led four players in double figures with 19 points. Brett Mette chipped in with 16, Thoele 12 and Hardiek 10.
The Wooden Shoes are now 22-4 on the season and will host a Shootout Saturday.

Altamont came calling in National Trail Conference play and handed Neoga a 55-47 loss.
Neoga took a 15-8 opening quarter lead and led 23-21 at halftime. Altamont then got going in the third quarter behind Ryan Armstrong's nine points to take a 39-36 lead. In the final quarter, Armstrong continued his strong play by connecting on a three-pointer and putting in five free throws.
Armstrong finished with 20 points for the winners while Adam Mayhaus and Evan Cornett added 12 each.
Neoga was led by C. Kersey with 21 and Pygott with 13.

The Trojans led 27-23 at halftime and 45-42 going into the final quarter. Newton was led by Mammoser with 18 points and Vahling with 11. Vahling led in rebounds with seven.

St. Elmo/Brownstown edged Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran 53-51 to improve to 9-15 on the season.
Christ Our Rock Lutheran held a 14-11 opening quarter lead before SEB came back to lead 30-24 at halftime and 42-33 going into the final quarter. Christ Our Rock Lutheran came roaring back only to fall short.
Maxey led the way for the winners with 19 points while Feezel chipped in with 14 points. Feezel also pulled down eight rebounds and had two assists. Maxey added four assists and three steals. Hardimon had three blocks and Kroll had seven boards.

The Hornets led 25-21 after one period but Mulberry Grove came back with a 15-8 run to pull ahead 36-33 at halftime. Cowden-Herrick then had a 43-32 second half run.
Blackerby tallied 22 points while Burrus added 17, Nohren 14 and Pasley 12 for the Hornets.
