(Chicago, IL) -- Hassan Whiteside logged a triple-double with 14 points, 13 rebounds and 12 blocks as the Heat beat the Bulls 96-84 in Chicago. Dwyane Wade led all scorers with 26 points in Miami's second straight win.  Chris Bosh added 20 points and seven rebounds in the victory. Derrick Rose netted 19 points to pace the Bulls, who had won their previous two. Aaron Brooks scored 17 points off the bench in the loss.


Cavaliers Close Out Thunder

(Cleveland, OH) -- In a battle of two of the NBA's biggest stars, LeBron James was victorious as the Cavaliers defeated the Thunder 108-98 in Cleveland.  James had 34 points to lead the Cavs, who have won six in-a-row. As a team, the Cavs shot 16-of-36 from beyond the arc, including 5-of-7 for Kevin Love, who finished with 19 points. Kevin Durant finished with 32 points and nine assists for Oklahoma City. Thunder guard Dion Waiters scored 14 points in his first game in Cleveland since being traded by the Cavs earlier this month.


Clippers Rock Suns

(Phoenix, AZ) -- The Clippers started clicking in the second half to pull away from the Suns for a 120-100 win at the U.S. Airways Center behind 23 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds from Chris Paul.  Los Angeles outscored Phoenix 65-to-43 after halftime, holding the Suns to 35-percent shooting. Blake Griffin added 23 points, seven rebounds and seven assists as the Clippers have taken the first three between the two teams. LA will go for the sweep on April 14th. Markieff Morris had nine points in 20 minutes, but never returned to the game after receiving a technical for arguing with the refs in the third quarter. Isaiah Thomas posted a team-high 25 points off the bench.


Pelicans Clip Mavericks

(New Orleans, LA) -- Monta Ellis' desperation three-point heave at the buzzer fell short and the Pelicans grabbed a 109-106 win against the Mavericks at the Smoothie King Center. Anthony Davis led the way for New Orleans posting 28 points, 10 rebounds and five steals. Tyreke Evans added 24 and 12 assists, while Ryan Anderson found his shot knocking down 6-of-10 on his way to 18 points. New Orleans has won four of five. Ellis finished with a game-high 36 points and Dirk Nowitzki chipped in 24 with six rebounds. The Mavs lost two straight.  


Hawks Thump Timberwolves To Run Winning Streak To 16

(Atlanta, GA) -- Paul Millsap led all five starters in double-figures with 20 points as the Hawks continued to roll with a 112-100 win over the Timberwolves in Atlanta. Al Horford added 19 points as the Hawks ran their franchise-record winning streak to 16 games. Jeff Teague tallied 15 points and seven assists in the victory. Thaddeus Young netted a game-high 26 points for Minnesota, which has dropped four in-a-row. Mo Williams finished with 20 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the loss.


Pacers Rally To Beat Magic

(Orlando, FL) -- The Indiana Pacers' losing streak is over after a 106-99 victory versus Orlando at the Amway Center. David West scored 20 points to lead the Pacers. Indiana had previously lost seven straight games. The Magic led by seven points entering the fourth quarter, but reserve forward Damjan Rudez scored 16 of his career-high 18 in the final 12 minutes. Nikola Vucevic led Orlando with 27 points and seven rebounds. The Magic have dropped 10 of their past 12 games.


Spurs Slip Past Bucks

(San Antonio, TX)  --  Tim Duncan poured in 20 points and pulled down 11 rebounds as the Spurs slipped past the Bucks 101-95 in San Antonio.  Kawhi [[ kuh-WHY ]] Leonard added 19 points and 14 boards for the Spurs, who have won two straight and six-of-seven.  Boris Diaw scored 14 points off the bench in the win.  Khris Middleton led all scorers with 21 points for Milwaukee, which has dropped three of its last four.  Jerryd Bayless netted 15 points in defeat.


Raptors Hold Off Pistons

(Toronto, Ontario)  --  The Raptors held off a four-quarter rally from the Pistons to grab a 114-110 victory at the Air Canada Centre.  Detroit pulled within two with 15 seconds left, but couldn't pull off the comeback.  DeMar DeRozan paced Toronto with 25 points, six rebounds and four assists.  Jonas Valanciunas added 20 and 11 boards as the Raptors won for the third time in four tries.  D.J. Augustin went off for 35 points and eight assists replacing Brandon Jennings in the starting lineup.  It was the Pistons first game since it was announced Jennings would miss the rest of the season with a torn Achilles.  Greg Monroe chipped in 21 points and 16 rebounds for Detroit, which has lost three of four.


Warriors Fight Off Celtics

(Oakland, CA) -- The Celtics never quit, but the Warriors still grabbed a 114-111 win at ORACLE Arena. Coming off his 37-point third quarter and 52-point game on Friday night, Klay Thompson dropped 31 on 11-of-19 shooting. Steph Curry added 22 and 11 assists as Golden State improved to 20-1 at home. Boston trailed by 13 with 2:24 left and cut the lead to three twice in the closing moments. Jared Sullinger posted 26 points and nine rebounds in the defeat. The Celtics have started their six-game road trip 2-2.


Wizards Knock Off Nuggets In Overtime

(Denver, CO) -- John Wall recorded a 19-point, 16-assist, double-double to lead the Wizards to a 117-115 overtime win against the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center. Paul Pierce added 19 points with Marcin Gortat chipping in seven with 11 rebounds. Bradley Beal and Nene Hilario each finished with 14 points as Washington snapped a short two-game skid for its 30th win of the season. Denver had an opportunity to win the game in regulation, but missed two free throws in the final seconds. Ty Lawson went off for 31 points with 12 assists and just missed his chance to send the game to double-overtime. Wilson Chandler added 20 points as the Nuggets dropped their sixth straight.     


Harden Leads Rockets Past Lakers

(Los Angeles, CA) -- James Harden continued his dominance with a 37-point performance as the Rockets beat the Lakers 99-87 from the STAPLES Center. Harden added eight rebounds, while Jason Terry and Josh Smith kicked in 11 points each off the bench. Houston improved to 31-14. Carlos Boozer went for 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Lakers with Jeremy Lin adding 14. Wayne Ellington led the starters with 13 points as Los Angeles dropped its eighth straight.
