Frosh/Soph Girls Basketball -- Jan. 20

TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis captured a girls freshman/sophomore basketball win over Effingham Tuesday evening, 63-20.

T-town leaped out to a 17-3 opening quarter lead. The Shoes were getting even scoring before Lauren Hemmen cut loose with 10 points in the third quarter and six in the final period for a total of 18 points. Marianna Hemmen and Christy Hoene added 10 each.

Effingham was led by Taylor Conkling with nine.
