Junior High Basketball -- Jan. 20

TEUTOPOLIS -- Effingham St. Anthony and Teutopolis split seventh and eighth grade B boyis basketball contests Tuesday evening.

St. Anthony claimed the seventh-grade B victory 31-27. The Bullpups led 12-11 at halftime and 18-16 going into the final period. Heuerman scored nine for the winners. T-town was led by Trenton Schwerdt with seven.

In eighth-grade B action, T-town picked up the 36-27 victory. The Wooden Booties held a 15-8 opening quarter lead and had a 9-4 final period run.

Roddnie Deters scored seven for the winners and Kendal Zerrusen six. St. Anthony was led by Litke with nine and Niebrugge with eight.
