(Chicago, IL) -- For the second time in six days the Wizards sunk the Bulls,105-99, this time at the United Center. Washington beat Chicago by six on January 9th at home. Paul Pierce led the way with 22 points and six rebounds. John Wall added 21 points and nine assists as the Wizards won for the fourth time in five games. Derrick Rose exploded for 32 points and found the touch from behind the arc, knocking down six of nine threes. Joakim Noah only played 13 minutes after suffering a right ankle injury. Jimmy Butler scored 13 points, but shot 3-of-10 from the field. The Bulls have lost four of five.


Magic Big Fourth Pushes Past Rockets

(Orlando, FL) -- A second straight 30-point effort from Victor Oladipo led the Magic to a 120-113 win against the Rockets at the Amway Center. Oladipo finished with 32 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals.  Nikola Vucevic added 25 points and 12 assists, while Channing Frye and Elfrid Payton each chipped in 15. Orlando has won two consecutive games. Houston held a three-point lead with 2:42 left in the fourth quarter and then were outscored 16-to-6 to close the game. James Harden posted a team-high 26 points with 10 assists and five steals. Dwight Howard contributed 23 points and eight boards for the Rockets, who had a four-game winning streak snapped.


Spurs Sink Hornets

(Charlotte, NC) -- Manu Ginobili posted 27 points off the bench to pace the Spurs to a 98-93 win over the Hornets in Charlotte. Danny Green added 18 points while Tim Duncan had 14 points and 10 rebounds for San Antonio, which has won three of four. Tony Parker was held to 10 points and five assists in the win.  Kemba Walker scored 28 points for Charlotte, which had won five straight. Bismack Biyombo added 12 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks in the loss.


Raptors Beat 76ers In DeRozan's Return

(Toronto, Ontario) -- The Raptors pounded the 76ers, 100-84, at the Air Canada Centre in DeMar DeRozan's return to the lineup. DeRozan posted 20 points with four rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes. He had missed the last 22 games. Louis Williams compiled 19 points off the bench, while Kyle Lowry had a double-double with 18 points and 12 helpers. Toronto has won two of three. Michael Carter-Williams dropped 29 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the defeat. Nerlens Noel added 12 points and eight boards with three steals for the Sixers, who have lost two straight.


Pelicans Bounce Pistons

(Auburn Hills, MI) -- The Pelicans went on the road and pulled out a 105-94 win over the Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills behind 27 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks from Anthony Davis. In his first game since being acquired by New Orleans, Quincy Pondexter scored nine points off the bench and hit three from deep. Tyreke Evans just missed out on a triple-double with 18 points, nine assists and eight boards for the Pelicans, who have won two of three. It was a poor night for Andre Drummond as he was held to two points and two rebounds in 22 minutes. Brandon Jennings paced the Pistons with 19 points, while Greg Monroe added in 16 points, eight rebounds and five helpers. Detroit had a two-game winning streak snapped.


Grizzlies Hand Nets Seventh Straight Loss

(Brooklyn, NY) -- Zach Randolph racked up 20 points and 14 rebounds as the Grizzlies defeated the slumping Nets 103-92 at the Barclays Center. Marc Gasol notched 18 points and eight boards, while Courtney Lee also scored 18 points for Memphis, which has won two in-a-row. Tony Allen added 13 points in the victory. Jeff Green scored 10 points in his Grizzlies debut. Mason Plumlee posted 15 points and nine rebounds to pace the Nets, who have lost seven straight. Mirza Teletovic tallied 12 points and six boards off the bench in defeat.


Hawks Roll Past Celtics

(Boston, MA) -- Jeff Teague scored 22 points and dished out six assists to help the Hawks defeat the Celtics 105-91 at the TD Garden. DeMarre Carroll poured in 22 points as well while Paul Millsap recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Atlanta extended its winning streak to 10 games and has won 24 of its last 26 overall. Avery Bradley paced Boston with 17 points and Jared Sullinger finished with 14 points and nine rebounds. Kelly Olynyk chipped in 12 points and eight boards off the bench for the Celtics, who have dropped six of eight.


Nuggets Hold Off Mavericks

(Denver, CO) -- The Nuggets stymied a Mavericks fourth quarter rally to pull off a 114-107 victory at the Pepsi Center. Ty Lawson had a game-high 29 points with 12 assists and five rebounds. Kenneth Faried added 22 points and 14 rebounds as Denver has won five in-a-row. Ray Felton made his first start of the season accounting for 10 points and five rebounds. Dirk Nowitzki, Tyson Chandler and Rajon Rondo all didn't play. Dallas got 62 points off the bench including 17 from J.J. Barea. The Mavs have lost three of four.


Clippers Top Trail Blazers

(Portland, OR) -- Chris Paul tallied 23 points, 10 assists and six rebounds as the Clippers topped the Trail Blazers 100-94 from the Moda Center. DeAndre Jordan added 17 points and 18 rebounds for Los Angeles, which has won three of four. Blake Griffin chipped in with 18 points. Jamal Crawford scored all 25 L.A. bench points in the win. LaMarcus Aldridge posted 37 points and 12 boards for Portland, which had won four straight. Chris Kaman helped out with 15 points and 11 rebounds in the loss. Damian Lillard scored 15 points in defeat, but shot 5-of-16 from the field.


Warriors Cool Off Heat

(Oakland, CA) -- Stephen Curry poured in 32 points on 11-of-19 shooting to guide the Warriors to a 104-89 win over the Heat at ORACLE Arena. Klay Thompson chipped in 19 points as Golden State won its eighth straight game. The bench totaled 41 points with Andre Iguodala and Leandro Barbosa leading the way with nine a piece. Chris Bosh led a balanced Miami attack with 26 points and seven rebounds while Dwyane Wade sat out due to a strained hamstring. Luol Deng added 19 points for the Heat, who had won three of four coming in.
