Hawks Hammer Sixers Behind Horford's Triple-Double, NBA Roundup

(Philadelphia, PA) -- Al Horford logged a triple-double with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as the Hawks hammered the 76ers 105-87 in Philadelphia.  Kent Bazemore came off the bench to score 17 points for Atlanta, which has reeled off nine straight wins. Kyle Korver added 15 points in the win. Michael Carter-Williams finished with 20 points and nine boards for the Sixers, who had won their previous two. K.J. McDaniels had 14 points in the loss.


Wizards Slip Past Spurs

(Washington, DC) -- John Wall dropped in a game-high 25 points and dished out eight assists, leading the Wizards past the Spurs 101-93 at the Verizon Center. Kevin Seraphin netted 17 points off the bench for the Wizards, who snapped a 17-game losing streak to the Spurs. Paul Pierce and Bradley Beal both had 13 points in the victory. Tony Parker posted 14 points and Tim Duncan added 11 points and 12 rebounds for San Antonio, which had won four of five coming into the game. Patty Mills scored 12 points off the pine in defeat.


Timberwolves Top Pacers To End 15-Game Skid

(Indianapolis, IN) -- The Timberwolves put an end to their 15-game losing streak with a 110-101 win over the Pacers in Indiana. Mo Williams poured in a career-high 52 points for Minnesota, which won for the first time since December 10th. The Wolves also earned their first road victory since November 28th.  C.J. Miles dropped in 22 points for the Pacers, who have lost two straight and three-of-four. C.J. Watson ended with 17 points in defeat.


Suns Hold Off LeBron, Cavaliers

(Phoenix, AZ) -- Markieff Morris dropped in a career-high 35 points on 15-of-21 shooting, as the Suns spoiled LeBron's return to the lineup with a 107-100 win over the Cavaliers at US Airways Center. James had missed the previous eight games with a strained lower back and left knee. Goran Dragic donated 18 points and Alex Len had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Suns, who were coming off a 2-2 road trip. Eric Bledsoe chipped in with 12 points, seven boards and six assists in the victory. James ended with 33 points, seven boards and five helpers for Cleveland, which has lost six straight and nine of its last 10.  J.R. Smith netted 29 points in defeat.


Warriors Run Past Jazz

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Stephen Curry scored 27 points and handed out 11 assists as the Warriors ran past the Jazz 116-105 in Utah. Draymond Green dropped in 15 for Golden State, which outscored Utah 44-27 in the third quarter en route to its seventh straight win. Harrison Barnes and Klay Thompson had 12 points apiece in the win. Derrick Favors finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Jazz, who have dropped three in-a-row. Six players scored in double figures for Utah in the loss.


Mavericks Clip Kings In Sacramento

(Sacramento, CA) -- Monta Ellis scored six of his 28 points in overtime as the Mavericks clipped the Kings 108-104 at Sleep Train Arena. Rajon Rondo racked up 21 points, seven assists, five rebounds and four steals for Dallas, which avoided its first three-game losing streak of the season. Tyson Chandler chipped in with 16 points and 17 boards in the victory. DeMarcus Cousins just missed a triple-double with 32 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists for the Kings, who have alternated wins and losses over their last seven games. Darren Collison added 18 points and seven boards in defeat.


Heat Top Lakers In Low-Scoring Affair

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Kobe Bryant's three-pointer to tie it at the buzzer fell short as the Heat defeated the Lakers 78-75 at STAPLES Center. Mario Chalmers finished with 19 points and eight assists, and Hassan Whiteside tallied 15 points and nine rebounds off the bench. Chris Andersen chipped in 12 points and grabbed eight boards for Miami, which has won three-of-four. Bryant had just 12 points on 3-of-19 shooting along with seven assists and six rebounds after sitting out two games. Jordan Hill and Ed Davis both scored 12 as well as LA lost for the fourth time in five games.


Bulls Host Wizards

(Chicago, IL) -- The Bulls welcome the Wizards to the United Center this evening. Chicago suffered a 121-114 loss to the Magic its last time out on Monday. The Bulls also fell to the Wizards in Washington last Friday, 102-86. Tonight's game is at 7:00.
