Flora Beats St. A Girls, Breese Central Downs T-town

Effingham St. Anthony High School hosted Flora in girls action Saturday and fell to the Wolves, 52-27.

Flora stepped out to an 11-4 opening quarter lead and led 20-8 at halftime. Flora continued its scoring edge with a 15-10 third period run.

Jones tallied 25 to lead the Wolves while Baules chipped in with 13.

St. Anthony was led by Megan Nuxoll with 10 points.

Central edged out to a 13-11 opening quarter lead and led 27-20 at halftime. Central then pushed the game into the win category with an 18-7 third period run.

T-town was led by Drees with 11 points. Central was led by Kendra Wilken with 22 points and Grace Yaunches with 12.
