EHS Girls Basketball Tournament Pairings Released

The 14th Annual Effingham High School Girls Round Robin Basketball Tournament pairings were released. The tournament will be held from Monday, January 19 through Friday, Jauary 23. Teams entered are Effingham, Vandalia, Pana, Greenville and Centralia.

The tournament opens Monday, January 19 with two games. Effingham won't play until the 7:30 p.m. game Tuesday, January 20 against Greenville.

Following are the tournament pairings:

Monday, January 19

Game 1 -- Vandalia vs. Greenville, 6 p.m.

Game 2 -- Pana vs. Centralia, 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday, January 20

Game 3 -- Centralia vs. Vandalia, 6 p.m.

Game 4 -- Effingham vs. Greenville, 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, January 21

Game 5 -- Greenville vs. Centralia, 6 p.m.

Game 6 -- Effingham vs. Pana, 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, January 22

Game 7 -- Greenville vs. Pana, 6 p.m.

Game 8 -- Effingham vs. Vandalia, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, January 23

Game 9 -- Vandalia vs. Pana, 6 p.m.

Game 10 -- Effingham vs. Centralia, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, January 24

Make-up date for tournament at 6:15 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Games could be played earlier if multiple days are lost.
