Junior High School Basketball -- Dec. 20

Teutopolis played host to Urbana and St. Joe in junior high boys basketball play Saturday.

In seventh-grade play, T-town fell to Urbana 49-41. Mitch Hardiek tallied 16 and Mitch Hemmen 10 for T-town.

In the eighth-grade contest, T-town was a 47-38 winner. T-town held a 21-20 halftime lead then had an 18-11 third quarter run. Dawson Smith and Clint Weber scored 21 points each.

St. Joe won over Urbana 46-39 in seventh-grade and 48-43 in eighth-grade.

T-town then downed St. Joe in both seventh and eighth-grade action. T-town won 50-33 in the seventh-grade contest and was led by Hardiek with 19 and Hemmen with 13.

In the eighth-grade game, T-town won 40-37. St. Joe led 19-17 at halftime then T-town came back with a 23-18 second half run. Smith scored 18 and Tyler Runde 13.
