(Chicago, IL) -- Jimmy Butler dropped a career-high 35 points with seven assists, five rebounds and four steals helping the Bulls get past the Knicks, 103-97, at the United Center. Derrick Rose and Taj Gibson sat out for Chicago, while Carmelo Anthony missed the game for New York.

Pau Gaol added 20 points, seven boards and five blocks as the Bulls earned their fourth win in five tries The Knicks were paced by Tim Hardaway Junior's 23 points. Amar'e Stoudemire chipped in 16 and Cole Aldrich piled up a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double. New York has lost three straight.


Pelicans Bounce Rockets

(Houston, TX) -- The Pelicans went into Houston and picked up an impressive, 99-90, win over the Rockets behind 30 points, 14 rebounds, five blocks, three assists and two steals from Anthony Davis. Jrue Holiday and Ryan Anderson each added 16 points for New Orleans, which has won three of four. The Rockets shot 38-percent from the field and missed 19-of-25 from three-point range. James Harden put up 21 points with seven boards and five helpers. Houston had a three-game winning streak snapped.


Kings Drop Cousins Return To Bucks

(Sacramento, CA) -- In his return to the court, DeMarcus Cousins missed a step-back jumper as time expired and the Kings fell, 108-107, to the Bucks at Sleep Train Arena. Brandon Knight led the way for 20 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Jared Dudley added 19 off the bench. Milwaukee has won three of four. Cousins put up 27 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in 33 minutes playing for the first time since November 26th. "Boogie" missed nine games with viral meningitis. Rudy Gay chipped in 20 points, nine rebounds and six assists for the Kings, who have lost five in-a-row.


Warriors Hold Off Thunder

(Oakland, CA) -- Steph Curry dropped 34 points and kicked out nine assists to help the Warriors top the Thunder 114-109 from ORACLE Arena.  Klay Thompson added 19 points in the win while Draymond Green finished with 16 and fell one rebound and assist shy of a triple-double. Harrison Barnes chipped in 12 points as Golden State jumped to 22-and-3.  Kevin Durant left the game with an ankle sprain late in the first half, but managed 30 points on 10-of-13 shooting in the loss. Russell Westbrook shot 30 times for 33 points and Andre Roberson finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds. The Thunder slipped to 12-14.
