Junior High School Boys Basketball -- Dec. 16

Altamont played host to Stewardson-Strasburg in junior high boys basketball competition and claimed two victories Tuesday evening.

Altamont was a 46-22 winner in seventh-grade play. Altamont held a 25-10 halftime lead. Kollman scored 17 and Reardon chipped in with 12 for the winners. Stew-Stras was led by Kirby with 12. Stew-Stras drops to 4-11 on the season.

In eighth-grade play, Altamont was a 35-19 winner. Eight players scored the winners who were led by Asplin and Biggs with eight each. Burton led Stew-Stras with eight. The homestanders drop to 1-10.
